How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM Institute campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it easy to combine with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Kalibr, OpenCV, ROS 2, Ceres Solver, MATLAB Camera Calibrator, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Case studies cover real intrinsic calibration procedures for wide-angle cameras, camera-IMU self-calibration in motion, and ADAS recalibration after windscreen replacement. Assessment is continuous by module, plus a final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Geometrically model cameras, LiDAR, radar and IMUs.
Carry out precise intrinsic calibrations of cameras.
Intrinsically calibrate LiDAR, IMU and odometry.
Implement online extrinsic self-calibration algorithms.
Detect miscalibration during vehicle operation.
