How you'll learn
Training 100 % online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine it with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is MoTeC i2 Pro, McLaren ATLAS, Python (asammdf, pandas), Apache Airflow, Grafana, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Trials are studied using real procedures for analysing actual racing motorcycle sessions, developing automated data pipelines and creating season performance dashboards. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the acquisition and telemetry architecture of a racing motorcycle.
Analyse sessions with MoTeC i2 Pro and McLaren ATLAS.
Create mathematical channels based on motorcycle physics.
Build automated data ingestion and conversion pipelines.
Develop visualisations and dashboards for the team.

Frequently asked questions
The programme consists of 800 hours in total, spread over 6 to 8 months. That is between 10 and 15 hours per week on average, compatible with a full-time job.
You will work with MoTeC i2 Pro, McLaren ATLAS, Python (asammdf, pandas), Apache Airflow, Grafana. Free, academic or evaluation versions are used, and the tutor indicates the open-source alternative where one exists.
A SEIUM own diploma upon passing the continuous assessment and the final integrating project. It is in-house training, not an official Ministry qualification.
Yes. Modules passed in a course or postgraduate diploma in the same area are recognised towards the advanced programme. Check the recognition policy when you enrol.
