How you'll learn
Training is 100 % online on the SEIUM Institute campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is nCode DesignLife, FEMFAT, Ansys Mechanical, MSC Adams, MTS RPC Pro, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for reproducing road signals on servo-hydraulic benches, measurement of suspension kinematics and compliance, and magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspection of components. Assessment is continuous per module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Measure and process service loads for durability analysis.
Apply high- and low-cycle fatigue methods to motorcycle components.
Predict component life using finite elements and fracture mechanics.
Characterise suspension kinematics and compliance.
Design accelerated durability tests on a test bench.

Frequently asked questions
The programme totals 800 hours, spread over 6 to 8 months. That is between 10 and 15 hours per week on average, compatible with a full-time job.
The work is carried out with nCode DesignLife, FEMFAT, Ansys Mechanical, MSC Adams and MTS RPC Pro. Free, academic or evaluation versions are used, and the tutor indicates a free alternative where one exists.
An own diploma from SEIUM Institute upon passing the continuous assessment and the integrating project. It is in-house training, not an official qualification from the Ministry.
Yes. Modules passed in a course or postgraduate diploma in the same area are credited towards the advanced programme. Check the recognition policy when you enrol.
