How you'll learn
Fully online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake period, which makes it easy to combine with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Minitab, JMP, Q-DAS (Hexagon), APIS IQ-FMEA, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work uses real capability study procedures on a motorcycle assembly line, Gauge R&R analysis of gauges in wheel machining, and process audit at a brake system supplier. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Apply APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and PPAP tools to motorcycle component projects.
Design control plans consistent with the process risk analysis.
Evaluate measurement systems through repeatability and reproducibility studies.
Interpret control charts and define effective reaction plans.
Calculate and interpret capability indices for normal and non-normal processes.
