How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM Institute campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a dedicated technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is AutoCAD Electrical, KiCad, advanced Excel, LTspice, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for measuring voltage drops in 12 V circuits, winch load testing, and fault diagnosis with a multimeter and clamp meter. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Analyse the 12 V electrical architecture of a vehicle.
Size dual-battery systems with appropriate isolation and charging.
Install electric winches with correct protection and wiring.
Integrate auxiliary lighting in compliance with lighting regulations.
Select cable cross-sections, fuses and relays for each load.
