How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the enrolment period, which makes it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Artec Studio, Agisoft Metashape, CloudCompare, ZEISS INSPECT, RealityCapture, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for structured light scanning, laser scanning of car bodies and photogrammetry of complete vehicles. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Justify 3D digitisation as a conservation tool.
Operate structured light scanners with precision.
Plan laser scanning campaigns.
Apply photogrammetry to parts and complete vehicles.
Process point clouds and meshes.
Where this takes you
