How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is AVL CRUISE, GT-SUITE, Axisuite, MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS Fluent, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures: sizing a three-way catalytic converter for a single-cylinder engine, a WMTC emissions test on a chassis dynamometer, and accelerated bench ageing of a catalytic converter. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: Regulation (EU) 168/2013, Delegated Regulation (EU) 134/2014, UN Global Technical Regulation No. 2, Regulation (EU) 2024/1257 (Euro 7), UNECE Regulation No. 41, ISO 362-2, ISO 8178-1, UNECE Regulation No. 83.
