How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is CONVERGE CFD, ANSYS Forte, AVL FIRE, GT-POWER and Cantera, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures: in-cylinder pressure and heat release analysis, CFD simulation of mixture formation in direct injection, and emissions measurement with a gas analyser on the test bench. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: Delegated Regulation (EU) 134/2014, UN Global Technical Regulation No. 2, EN 228, ISO 5164, ISO 5163, ISO 16183, Directive (EU) 2018/2001, SAE J2715.
