How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it possible to combine with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Advanced Excel, AutoCAD, FDS (Fire Dynamics Simulator), Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real risk inspection procedures in a vehicle depot, a risk assessment matrix, and environmental monitoring of temperature and humidity. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Identify the risks specific to a classic vehicle depot.
Assess the fire and explosion risks associated with fuels, batteries and fluids.
Analyse the deterioration agents that threaten stored assets.
Assess the risks to people during vehicle handling and maintenance operations.
Prioritise control measures in an action plan with owners and deadlines.
