Course in Heating in Classic Vehicles
The Course in Energy Efficiency in Electromobility explores the optimisation of electrical systems in vehicles, focusing on battery design, energy management and efficient charging. It addresses key concepts such as electric motors, power converters and electric vehicle (EV) architectures, integrating knowledge of thermodynamics, power electronics and control systems. It focuses on implementing strategies to maximise range, reduce energy consumption and minimise environmental impact, which are crucial for the advancement of electromobility.
The course provides tools for performance analysis, system simulation and component optimisation, using specialised software for the design and evaluation of EVs. Participants will develop practical skills in areas such as thermal management, fast charging and the integration of renewable energy, preparing them for professional roles such as EV design engineers, energy management specialists and energy efficiency analysts, promoting innovation in the automotive and transport industries.

How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the enrolment period, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is advanced Excel, MATLAB, SolidWorks, FLIR Thermal Studio, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for thermographic measurement of the cabin heater matrix, leak and pressure testing of the cooling circuit, and demisting testing in the vehicle. Assessment is continuous, module by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
