How you'll learn
Fully 100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded lessons and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Cat VisionLink, Komatsu KOMTRAX, Advanced Excel, Trimble Business Center, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for loading-cycle analysis in an aggregates plant, tyre pressure and wear control, and fleet consumption and productivity analysis. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Classify front-end loaders by size, kinematics and application.
Determine the nominal load and bucket capacity in accordance with ISO standards.
Calculate productivity in loading cycles on trucks.
Describe transmission, hydraulic and electronic control systems.
Plan maintenance with particular attention to OTR tyres.
