Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it can be combined with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Python (pandas, scikit-learn), Prophet, R (forecast), TensorFlow and Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for forecasting with historical traffic series and time-based cross-validation. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.

Standards covered: ICAO Doc 8991, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Regulation (EU) 2016/679, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, Regulation (EEC) 95/93.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ICAO Doc 8991, the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) and the GDPR applied to real cases.
Industry software:Python (pandas, scikit-learn), Prophet, R (forecast), TensorFlow and Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:a complete demand forecasting project for an aviation case, from dataset preparation to model selection, deployment plan and economic impact, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
Capstone project

Build it end to end

Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.

Dataset construction
Build a clean dataset from internal and external sources with temporal splits for validation.
Route forecast
Forecast demand on a route with classical time series models against simple baselines.
Global multi-route model
Train a global machine learning model across several routes with temporal validation.
Monitoring dashboard
Build a dashboard to track forecast error and data drift in production.
Final project
Deliver a complete forecasting project translated into capacity and pricing decisions, with deployment plan and economic impact.
