How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a dedicated technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is PicoScope, advanced Excel, Gas analyser with logging software, Fluke Connect, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real measurement procedures for airflow meter vane resistance, CO adjustment at idle, and injector flow testing. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Explain the air measurement principle of the vane airflow meter.
Verify the load signal and the resistive track of the airflow meter.
Check the pump, pressure regulator and injectors.
Review the control unit and the system wiring.
Carry out the tuning and mixture adjustment.
