How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM Institute campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulation and applied exercises. The working software is QGIS, Google Earth Pro, ENAIRE Drones, advanced Excel, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Case studies are based on real procedures for preparing SORA analyses, airspace studies and operational authorisation files. Assessment is continuous, module by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the structure of the European UAS regulatory framework.
Classify operations into the open, specific and certified categories.
Apply the SORA methodology to an operation in the specific category.
Interpret U-space requirements and airspace management.
Analyse EASA special conditions for eVTOL aircraft.
