How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it possible to combine with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The software used is Volume Graphics VGSTUDIO MAX, Siemens NX CAM, Materialise Magics, PolyWorks Inspector, Minitab, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing procedures are studied using real procedures for defining post-processing routes, NDT of printed parts and preparation of certification dossiers. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Plan the post-processing chain for AM parts.
Define heat treatments with pyrometric control.
Establish machining strategies for printed geometries.
Select surface finishing processes according to their effect on fatigue.
Design non-destructive testing plans with acceptance criteria.
