How you'll learn
Fully 100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ANSYS Composite PrepPost, Abaqus, CADWIND, MATLAB, Siemens NX, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real design procedures for type IV tanks for heavy vehicles, permeation calculation in enclosed spaces and planning of type-approval tests. Assessment is continuous, module by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Compare on-board hydrogen storage technologies.
Distinguish between tank types and their applications.
Select composite materials and liners.
Carry out the structural design of high-pressure tanks.
Evaluate the permeation and sealing performance of the system.
