How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the enrolment period, which makes it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, AutoCAD, visTABLE, FlexSim, SAP S/4HANA, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures for designing motorcycle assembly line layouts, discrete event plant simulation and component traceability system design. Assessment is continuous, module by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Analyse the processes and flows of a motorcycle plant.
Design factory layouts using the SLP methodology.
Balance mixed assembly lines according to takt time.
Organise internal logistics and line-side supply.
Validate layout alternatives through discrete event simulation.
