How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so you can combine the programme with your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ANSYS Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, ThermoAnalytics TAITherm, Rhino and Artec Studio, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: a wind tunnel helmet test with neck-force measurement, simulation of the thermal comfort of a racing suit, and 3D scanning of riders for aerodynamic studies. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: UN ECE Regulation No. 22 (06 series), FIM Racing Homologation Programme for Helmets (FRHPhe-01), EN 17092, EN 1621-4, ISO 7730, ISO 9920, ISO 15831, SAE J1594.
