Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

The programme is delivered 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so you can combine it with your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Cameo Systems Modeler, Capella, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill and Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for MBSE modelling of complex systems, implementing change workflows in PLM and integrating tools into a digital thread. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288; ISO 10303-242; ISO 10303-239; OMG SysML; NATO Architecture Framework (NAF) v4; ISO 10007:2017; NIST SP 800-171; Modelica Association FMI.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, STEP AP242 and STEP AP239 (PLCS) applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Cameo Systems Modeler, Capella, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill and Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:An MBSE model, digital thread architecture and implementation plan for a system or process, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
