Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so you can combine it with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ReliaSoft Weibull++, HOMER Pro, MATLAB/Simulink, SAP PM and Python, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for reliability analysis with life data, simulation of field microgrids and remaining useful life estimation from sensor data. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: SAE JA1011, ASD S3000L, ASD S1000D, AQAP-2110, EMAR 145, ISO 55001, IEC 60812, ISO 13374.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of SAE JA1011, ASD S3000L and ASD S1000D applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:ReliaSoft Weibull++, HOMER Pro, MATLAB/Simulink, SAP PM and Python, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:A complete sustainment study for a real system, covering energy, reliability, maintenance strategy, supply chain, digitalisation and economic and environmental assessment, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
