Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is PolyWorks, GOM Inspect, 3DCS Variation Analyst, HBM catman and CETOL 6σ, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures: tolerance analysis of a motorcycle's steering geometry, photogrammetric measurement of a frame, and a frame stiffness test with strain gauging. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: ISO 1101, ISO 5459, ASME Y14.5, ISO 14253-1, ISO 10360-2, ISO 9130, ISO 4210-6, VDI/VDE 2634-2.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 1101, ISO 5459, ASME Y14.5 and ISO 14253-1 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:PolyWorks, GOM Inspect, 3DCS Variation Analyst, HBM catman and CETOL 6σ, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:A dimensional and structural verification plan for a motorcycle frame assembly, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
