Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme is compatible with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original guidelines and regulations, and applied exercises. The working software is Microsoft Excel, Carta, Python, PitchBook and Questel Orbit, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are built on real procedures: valuing a startup with several methods, technology due diligence and analysis of a term sheet. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: IPEV Valuation Guidelines, IFRS 13, Spanish Act 28/2022, Regulation (EU) 2019/452, ISO 16290:2013, Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR), Regulation (EU) 2021/821.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of the IPEV Guidelines, IFRS 13 and ISO 16290 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Microsoft Excel, Carta, Python, PitchBook and Questel Orbit, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:A complete multi-method valuation and investment recommendation for a real deeptech startup, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
