How you'll learn

Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so you can combine the programme with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulation and applied exercises. The working software is IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, Polarion ALM, Microsoft Project and esmini (OpenSCENARIO), in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: building a multi-market compliance matrix, preparing a type-approval file for an ADS, and planning exemption applications and testing permits. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.

Standards covered: Regulation (EU) 2018/858, UN Regulation R157 (ALKS), Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1426, UN Regulation R155, UN Regulation R156, Regulation (EU) 2019/2144, ISO 34502, 49 CFR Part 555.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of Regulation (EU) 2018/858, UN Regulation R157 (ALKS) and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1426 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, Polarion ALM, Microsoft Project and esmini (OpenSCENARIO), in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:a complete regulatory strategy for an automated driving system, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
