How you'll learn
100% online programme on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Wireshark, dump1090, MATLAB and Apache ActiveMQ, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: receiving and decoding ADS-B with SDR, analysing CPDLC transactions and consuming SWIM services. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final project.
Standards covered: Regulation (EC) 29/2009, Implementing Regulation (EU) 1207/2011, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/116, RTCA DO-260B, ARINC 618, ARINC 620, ICAO Doc 10037 (GOLD), ICAO Doc 10039 (SWIM).
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
