How you'll learn
100% online programme on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Wireshark, MATLAB/Simulink, Vector CANoe and DDC BusTrACEr, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: decoding traffic on avionics buses, calculating latencies in AFDX networks and analysing threats to onboard networks. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final project.
Standards covered: ARINC 664 Part 7, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553B, RTCA DO-326A, ARINC 825, RTCA DO-160G, RTCA DO-254, RTCA DO-178C.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
