How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Python (pandas), Vector CANoe, advanced Excel, Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for scenarios of loss or corruption of vehicle data, contractual analysis of data ownership, and economic valuation of data assets. Assessment is continuous, by module, plus the final integrated project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Recognise vehicle data as an asset with economic and legal value.
Identify scenarios of data loss, corruption or unavailability.
Analyse the legal framework governing access to, ownership of and protection of vehicle data.
Design insurance coverage for damage to vehicle data.
Establish prevention measures and claims management protocols.
