How you'll learn
A 100% online programme on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it easy to combine with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is John Deere Operations Center, CLAAS Telematics, Jaltest Diagnostics, Vector CANalyzer, Python (pandas), in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures for remotely reading fault codes, updating software remotely and analysing CAN frames. Assessment is continuous across each module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Explain the concept and value of remote diagnostics in agricultural machinery.
Interpret the machine's electronic signals and networks.
Apply remote diagnostic tools and procedures.
Manage remote updates and configurations securely.
Organise a telemetry-based technical service.
