How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it easy to combine with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is PolyWorks, advanced Excel, Fusion 360, Artec Studio, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for measuring gaps with feeler gauges and 3D scanners, adjusting hinges on a bench, and verifying closure and sealing. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Analyse the geometry of the openings on a classic bodyshell.
Diagnose misalignment of doors, bonnets and tailgates.
Restore hinges, locks and retention mechanisms.
Correct panels and edges to achieve uniform gaps.
Measure and document gaps using appropriate instruments.
