How you'll learn
Fully 100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Advanced Excel, Fusion 360, PicoScope 7, in free, academic or trial versions. Tests are studied using real tuning procedures for diesel and petrol engines, 4×4 transmission inspection in the workshop and off-road track testing. Assessment is continuous, module by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Identify the series and engine variants of the classic Land Cruiser.
Carry out maintenance and tuning of petrol and diesel engines.
Inspect the gearbox, transfer case, axles and freewheel hub bushes.
Inspect the chassis, leaf spring suspension and braking system.
Diagnose electrical faults and treat bodywork corrosion.
