How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, allowing the programme to be combined with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is CARLA, SUMO, esmini (OpenSCENARIO), MATLAB Automated Driving Toolbox, QGIS, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Case studies are based on real procedures for defining the operational design domain of an autonomous service, analysing the authorisation of a public road pilot, and scenario-based validation in simulation. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Understand the technology and levels of driving automation.
Interpret the European and international type-approval framework.
Apply Spanish regulation on testing automated vehicles.
Analyse civil liability and insurance for autonomous vehicles.
Assess functional safety and cybersecurity risks.
