How you'll learn
Fully 100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the enrolment period, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is SAP S/4HANA, openLCA, Minitab, Tableau, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures for inspecting and classifying used brake calliper cores, a test plan for a remanufactured starter motor, and the business case for a component remanufacturing line. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Distinguish reuse, repair, refurbishment and remanufacturing according to their technical requirements.
Design reverse logistics and core management programmes.
Apply cleaning, inspection and non-destructive testing techniques to used parts.
Select surface and component recovery processes.
Validate the functional equivalence of the remanufactured product.
