How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is ETS6 (KNX), Home Assistant, Node-RED, Python, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures on a multi-protocol home automation mock-up, voice recognition tests in a domestic setting, and security audits of IoT devices. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Compare centralised and distributed home automation architectures.
Integrate devices using different protocols through interoperability standards.
Explain how automatic speech recognition works.
Configure voice assistants and their device ecosystems.
Design voice interfaces accessible to people with disabilities.
