Postgraduate Diploma in DCT/CVT for 2R and Quickshifter
Online 800-hour Postgraduate Diploma in DCT/CVT for 2R and Quickshifter. 8 modules covering ISO 26262-12:2018, ISO 6336-1 and MATLAB/Simulink. Assigned tutor and enrolment open.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this programme. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do
Compare the transmission architectures used in two-wheeled vehicles.
Tune CVT variators through the analysis of rollers and springs.
Explain the operation and control of dual-clutch gearboxes.
Calibrate quickshifters and blippers for upshifts and downshifts.
Develop transmission control strategies in a simulation environment.
Calculate gears and shafts according to international standards.
Plan the functional and mechanical validation of a transmission.

How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the programme with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is MATLAB/Simulink, Romax Spectrum, KISSsoft, ETAS INCA, GT-SUITE, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real clutch durability procedures on transmission test benches, quickshifter cut calibration on roller dynamometers, and subjective shift-quality assessment with riders. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Where this takes you

Frequently asked questions
The programme totals 800 hours spread over 6 to 8 months. That is between 10 and 15 hours per week on average, compatible with a full-time job.
You work with MATLAB/Simulink, Romax Spectrum, KISSsoft, ETAS INCA, GT-SUITE. Free, academic or evaluation versions are used, and the tutor indicates the free alternative where one exists.
A SEIUM Institute own diploma upon passing the continuous assessment and the integrative project. This is in-house training, not an official qualification from the Ministry.
Yes. Modules passed in a course or postgraduate diploma in the same area are recognised in the higher-level programme. Check the recognition policy when you enrol.
