Naval MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Course
Online 300-hour course in naval MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). 6 modules with IEC 62264 / ANSI/ISA-95 Enterprise-control system integration, ISO 22400 Key performance indicators for manufacturing operations management and Siemens Opcenter. Assigned tutor and open enrolment.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this programme. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do
Describe the functions of a MES in the ISA-95 context.
Manage work orders and progress tracking in shipyard workshops.
Connect plant machines and sensors using industrial protocols.
Implement real-time traceability and quality control.
Define performance indicators tailored to shipbuilding.
Plan the implementation of a MES and its integration with ERP and PLM.
Design the architecture of a MES for a shipyard.

How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Siemens Opcenter, AVEVA MES, SAP Digital Manufacturing, Node-RED, Microsoft Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical exercises are based on real procedures for functional specification of a naval MES, integration of workshop machines via OPC UA, and design of production dashboards. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the functions of a MES in the ISA-95 context.
Manage work orders and progress tracking in shipyard workshops.
Connect plant machines and sensors using industrial protocols.
Implement real-time traceability and quality control.
Define performance indicators tailored to shipbuilding.
