Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

A 100% online programme on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable materials, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so it fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulation and applied exercises. The working software is QGIS, Google Earth Pro, Python (GeoPandas) and advanced Excel, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures for preparing SORA files, urban airspace design studies and documentary compliance audits. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/664, JARUS SORA, Regulation (EU) 2018/1139, Real Decreto 517/2024 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of Regulation (EU) 2019/947, Regulation (EU) 2021/664 and JARUS SORA applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:QGIS, Google Earth Pro, Python (GeoPandas) and advanced Excel, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:an integrated regulatory file for a UAM/UAS use case, from ConOps and SORA to U-space integration, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
