How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme can be combined with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is CST Studio Suite, Ansys HFSS, FEKO (Altair), MATLAB and Keysight PathWave, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for electromagnetic compatibility testing to MIL-STD-461, electromagnetic scattering simulation and materials characterisation in an anechoic chamber. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464C, DEF STAN 59-411, RTCA DO-160G, STANAG 4370, Directive 2013/35/EU, Regulation (EU) 2021/821.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
