How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme can be combined with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is MSC Nastran, Abaqus, HyperSizer, Fibersim (Siemens) and Altair OptiStruct, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for the design and analysis of laminates and stiffened panels, characterisation and damage tolerance testing, and non-destructive inspection of composite structures. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: CMH-17, FAA AC 20-107B, ASTM D3039, ASTM D7136, MIL-STD-1530D, EN 9100:2018, Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH).
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
