Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme can be combined with work.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Figma, Python with pandas, Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Postman, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures for designing on-demand insurance products, prototyping embedded insurance and pricing products without claims history. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: Law 50/1980 on Insurance Contracts, Directive (EU) 2016/97, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2358, Royal Decree-Law 3/2020, Royal Legislative Decree 8/2004, Royal Decree 970/2020, Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 (DORA).

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of Law 50/1980, Directive (EU) 2016/97 and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2358 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Figma, Python with pandas, Guidewire InsuranceSuite and Postman, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:a complete insurance product for a mobility segment, from user research and cover design to pricing, distribution, compliance and launch plan, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
