Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

Delivered 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable materials, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so you can combine the programme with your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standards and applied exercises. You work with Miro, Strategyzer, HYPE Innovation and Lens.org in free, academic or evaluation versions. Exercises are based on real procedures: designing an open innovation programme, validating a business model and managing a pilot with start-ups. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: ISO 56001:2024, ISO 56002:2019, ISO 56003:2019, UNE 166002:2021, OECD Oslo Manual (2018), Law 28/2022, Law 24/2015, Directive (EU) 2016/943.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 56001:2024, ISO 56002:2019 and ISO 56003:2019 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Miro, Strategyzer, HYPE Innovation and Lens.org, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:An open innovation programme for a real organisation, covering ecosystem analysis, start-up collaboration, IP management and governance, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
