Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so you can combine it with your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Figma, Storybook, Zeroheight, Jira and Dovetail, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practice is based on real procedures for design maturity diagnoses in organisations, process definition workshops with teams and design system audits. Assessment is continuous for each module, plus the final Master's Thesis.

Standards covered: ISO 9241-210:2019, ISO 9241-11:2018, WCAG 2.2, EN 301 549, ISO/IEC 25010:2023, ISO 56002:2019.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of ISO 9241-210:2019, ISO 9241-11:2018 and WCAG 2.2 applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:Figma, Storybook, Zeroheight, Jira and Dovetail, in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Master's Thesis with defence:A complete DesignOps plan for an organisation, from maturity diagnosis to team structure, processes, metrics and a phased implementation, defended before a panel.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
