How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable materials, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so the programme can be combined with full-time work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, PyBaMM, Python with scikit-learn and Vector CANoe, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical work is based on real procedures: implementing an extended Kalman filter for state of charge, estimating state of health with fleet data, and validating a BMS in hardware in the loop with fault injection. Assessment is continuous for each module, plus the final Master's Thesis.
Standards covered: ISO 26262-5, ISO 26262-6, IEC 62619, ISO 11898-1, ISO 14229-1, Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, UL 1973, ISO/SAE 21434.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
