Methodology, software & labs

How you'll learn

Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within the intake, so it fits around your job.

Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is STK, Orekit, CARA Analysis Tools, GMAT and Python (sgp4), in free, academic or evaluation versions. Testing is studied through real procedures: conjunction analysis and manoeuvre decisions, preparation of space licence dossiers and spectrum coordination for constellations. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.

Standards covered: Outer Space Treaty (1967), Convention on International Liability (1972), COPUOS Long-Term Sustainability Guidelines (2019), Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space (1975), ITU Radio Regulations, ISO 24113:2023, CCSDS 508.0-B, Loi n° 2008-518 relative aux opérations spatiales.

Assigned technical tutor:every module ends with a deliverable that your tutor marks individually.
Standards-based learning:guided reading of the Outer Space Treaty, the Liability Convention and the COPUOS guidelines applied to real cases, not as a theoretical annex.
Industry software:STK, Orekit, CARA Analysis Tools, GMAT and Python (sgp4), in free, academic or evaluation versions.
Final project:A space traffic management proposal for an orbital region, with conjunction procedure, licensing, spectrum coordination and data governance, reviewed by your tutor.
Flexible format:100% online, no fixed timetables, compatible with full-time work.
