How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a dedicated technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake period, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Expedition, Python with pandas, Tableau, TrainingPeaks, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Practical exercises are based on real procedures: analysing data from a training session, planning a competitive season and assessing the performance of a crew. Assessment is continuous throughout each module, plus a final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Define a performance model for a sailing team.
Select key performance indicators and build dashboards.
Analyse instrument and video data to improve performance.
Plan the physical preparation and recovery of sailors.
