How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Automation Studio, Simcenter Amesim, FluidSIM, Jaltest Diagnostics, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Tests are studied using real procedures on a hydraulic test bench, measurement of flow and pressure on the machine, and oil contamination analysis. Assessment is continuous by module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.

Select the appropriate pump type according to flow, pressure and efficiency.
Distinguish between directional, pressure and flow control valves and their applications.
Interpret standardised hydraulic diagrams using ISO 1219 symbols.
Carry out the adjustment and commissioning of pressures and flows.
