How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is Wireshark, Tenable Nessus, Nozomi Networks Guardian, Splunk, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Trials are studied using real procedures for cyber risk assessment of an integrated bridge, analysis of NMEA network traffic, and degraded navigation exercises following GNSS loss. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the architecture and assets of an integrated bridge.
Identify threats and vulnerabilities in navigation systems.
Apply the IACS UR E26 and E27 requirements and the IMO guidelines.
Design technical protection measures for bridge networks.
Prepare degraded-mode navigation procedures.
