How you'll learn
100% online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and a dedicated technical tutor. No fixed timetable: students progress at their own pace within the intake, making it compatible with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is HOMER Pro, PVsyst, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB/Simulink, advanced Excel, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Case studies draw on real procedures from sizing studies of deployable installations, energy audits of camps and low-voltage regulatory verifications. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Understand the energy needs of deployable installations.
Apply the low-voltage and generating installation regulatory framework.
Size hybrid systems with generating sets, photovoltaics and storage.
Design the electrical installation using safety and selectivity criteria.
Assess energy efficiency through an energy management system compliant with ISO 50001.
