How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is DNV Phast, Aspen HYSYS, AVEVA PI System, AutoCAD Plant 3D, in free, academic or evaluation versions. The exercises are based on real procedures for applying ship-shore safety checklists, HAZOP studies of transfer facilities and inventory control in tank farms. Assessment is continuous across each module, plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Describe the configuration of bulk liquid terminals.
Plan loading and discharge operations in line with ISGOTT.
Manage tank storage and its inspection.
Apply risk analysis techniques to transfer facilities.
Meet the requirements for major accidents and explosive atmospheres.
