How you'll learn
100 % online training on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake period, which makes it possible to combine the course with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The working software is AERMOD, CadnaA, QGIS, Microsoft Power BI, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Case studies cover real air quality monitoring procedures in the port environment, identification and assessment of environmental aspects, and preparation of greenhouse gas inventories. Assessment is continuous per module plus the final integrative project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Identify the environmental aspects and impacts of port activity.
Apply the maritime and port environmental regulatory framework.
Implement environmental management systems in ports.
Design air, noise and water monitoring programmes.
Prepare the response to accidental marine pollution.
Where this takes you
