Diploma in Low-Level Airspace Management and Compliance
Online postgraduate diploma of 800 hours in low-level airspace management and compliance: 8 modules covering airspace structure, UAS geographical zones, U-space architecture and services, low-level operations and UAM, operator compliance, authorisations and ATS coordination, and compliance auditing, with an assigned technical tutor.
Take the controls.
Run a real engineering trade-off from this field. Move the sliders, watch the model react in real time and beat the challenge.
What you will be able to do
Interpret the structure and classification of airspace.
Analyse UAS geographical zones and their access conditions.
Explain the architecture and services of U-space.
Plan low-level operations with strategic deconfliction.
Manage authorisations and coordination with air traffic services.
Design regulatory compliance programmes for UAS operators.
Audit an organisation's regulatory compliance.
Who it's for
- UAS regulatory compliance managers.

How you'll learn
Training is 100% online on the SEIUM campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. There are no fixed timetables: you progress at your own pace within each intake, so the programme fits around your job.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original regulations and applied exercises. The working software is ENAIRE Drones, InterUSS, QGIS and UgCS, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Real procedures are studied: geographical zone analysis for real operations, simulation of strategic deconfliction in U-space and internal compliance audits of operators. Assessment is continuous by module, plus the final project.
Standards covered: Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/664, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947, Implementing Regulation (EU) 923/2012 (SERA), Regulation (EU) 2018/1139, Royal Decree 517/2024, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/665, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/666, EUROCAE ED-269.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
