How you'll learn
A 100% online programme on the SEIUM Institute campus, with downloadable material, recorded classes and an assigned technical tutor. No fixed timetables: students progress at their own pace within the intake, which makes it possible to combine study with work.
Each module combines theory, guided reading of the original standard and applied exercises. The software used is RoboDK, Siemens Process Simulate, ABB RobotStudio, Visual Components, Siemens PLCSIM Advanced, in free, academic or evaluation versions. Case studies are based on real procedures for virtual commissioning of robotic cells, accuracy calibration with a laser tracker, and validation of offline programmes on the plant floor. Assessment is continuous, module by module, plus the final integrating project.
Build it end to end
Your final project follows the real engineering workflow, step by step, reviewed by your tutor.
Combine online and offline robot programming.
Build simulation cells with virtual controllers.
Calibrate the cell to transfer programmes to the plant floor.
Develop process digital twins.
Carry out virtual commissioning with an emulated PLC.
Where this takes you
